JUNE 19, 2004 (SATURDAY)
The greatest realization I've had right now is the fact that I need a vacation from my life. Somewhere far, far away from the maddening crowds, with only a laptop and a WiFi connection, and my cellphone. I want a beach during sunset, and white sand, and a calm ocean. I want a cabana with airconditioning and clean, crisp white sheets, and chocolate. I want cable TV and a remote control that actually works and no one to fight with over the channels. I want music. I want hugs. I want silence and cool nights and someone beside me while I sleep, with only the rhythm of the receding waves filling my ears.
